The best travel deals come to those who are patient and flexible. It also helps to know where to find the best travel deals and have easy airport access.

There are two types of travel, planned travel and spontaneous travel. If you’re lucky enough to have the freedom of time and location to be a spontaneous traveler, you will get to take advantage of the best travel deals and visit the premium vacation spots (click here to find more time and flexibility).

Google Flights Best Travel Deals

Online resources we use to find the best travel deals:

1. Google Flights -use this to compare flights during different times of year to see what months and airports offer the best prices.

2. Travel Pirates -on Facebook you can submit your location and Travel Pirates will send you all the deals for the airports nearest you. Also, when an airline makes an error in pricing, Travel Pirates will send you a message about the error fare. We scored $250 tickets roundtrip to Spain during the last error fare we booked.

Tips to save money on flights:

1. Speaking of error fares… When you get an alert for one, it may only be available for a few minutes before the airline realizes their mistake and corrects it. These flights book up fast, so don’t waste time calling all your friends or checking dates, when you find one, don’t wait, just book it!!!!

4. Use a travel credit card to book flights, hotels, excursions, etc. We follow The Points Guy to find the best travel cards. Find a card that gives you at least 50k bonus points and that makes your money worth more when you book through them. We’ve found that Chase usually has the best offers.
